The Tales of Harry Also
The Illustrations
"As I live with dyslexia, art and design has become my form of expression since I was a young child. Using connections with the environment and exploring nature over different countries has filled my sketch books. I want the illustrations for The Tales of Harry Also to be simple, fun and a little bit raw."

The Woodcuts
There is a unique quality with every piece of wood I find be it on a walk, visiting a saw mill or even just rummaging through a garden shed! Very little is done to prepare the surface of the wood so that the grain, the density and even the chainsaw cuts are included in the final print.
The Prints
Each print is inked up, printed and hand-burnished with the back of a spoon. Some prints have taken more than one piece of wood to get the affect I am happy with. Even using just the natural wood grain printed as a background with an illustration printed over the top. See if you can find them in the book!
